ABOUT US. Integral Yoga Society.

At the end of 2003 an informal Integral Yoga Society appeared in Velikiy Novgorod. It was led by Anatoly Novy. After 3 — 4 years of regular classes a group of 12 — 15 people who are constantly engaged in Yoga practice grew and strengthened. As a result the fact of formation of the Society was stated.

The practice of Integral Yoga is interesting and unique. It includes Hatha-Yoga of integral character and techniques from other Yoga systems as needed. The goal is spiritual transformation of oneself and the surrounding world, with a focus on aiding others in their development and life transformation based on both individual and social Yoga principles. The best way to help is through personal development and setting an example.

The group’s significant development in its work was the methodology of living by the Laws of Harmony, which form the foundation of any yogic discipline as the Yamas and Niyamas. It is these Laws that Jesus Christ laid down in his commandments.

We have come to the conclusion that with the advent of the New Cosmic Age of Aquarius the life of mankind is radically changing, and it is becoming impossible to live without knowledge of the laws of Harmony and following them. The Difficulty is that no one has ever established the laws of Harmony in his social life, the most important among which are the laws of Truth and Non-Violence. The Law of Truth, for example, prescribes that one must always, under any circumstances, speak only the truth. Anyone who begins to practice truth in his life will tell you that telling the truth always is the most difficult thing, as well as not committing violence, rude attitude towards oneself and others.

The group has successfully developed an effective and comprehensive methodology for changing one’s lives based on the Laws of Harmony. We have already published several books on the Methodology of Integral Yoga, where we share the results of our work. Thus, Integral Yoga is indistinguishable from life, it is a New Life. More about the evolutionary necessity of changing the whole life according to the commandments of Christ and the introducing to their practice you can find in Anatoly Novy’s five-part book «The Laws of Harmony of Universe.»

In 2021, a new stage has begun in our work. Previously, it had a more group-oriented character, with most of the energy directed towards the internal development of the group and the attempt to create a New Society. Now we are faced with the task of spiritual enlightenment of society, of spreading knowledge; people largely remain in complete ignorance, in darkness and in universal deception. Therefore, the first task is enlightenment.

So, we plan to regularly translate small fragments from Anatoly Novy’s works into English and German and publish them here, so that English- and German-speaking people can also get acquainted with these interesting ideas.

We will be glad to collaborate with people who support our ides, who are willing to study and practice the Laws of Harmony and want to help Group’s work.
